Redhead at Mt. Hope Lake, Rockaway Township, 4-2-2011

Saturday, April 2, 2011 – 10:00
A drake Redhead was the highlight of the ducks present today at Mt. Hope Lake. Along with the many ducks in the water, there were at one time over 250 ducks in the air, most of them Green-winged Teal. Whether or not the adult Bald Eagle cruising in the area had anything to do with it is conjecture.
