Red-headed Woodpecker at the Tourne, Boonton Township, 6/12/2011

From Tim Vogel:

Tourne Beaver Swamp
Good Woodpecker day – Red-bellied, Flicker, Downy , Hairy, Pileated
Red-headed Woodpecker continues.
Still seeing only one bird but did observe it carrying food to a hole.
Hole is best seen from northwest side of pond. I stood on the big rock just past the original dam. The tree is in the middle, very tall and thin.

June 11
Randolph Township
Bald Eagle 2nd year
Observed standing in the unpaved lot for the proposed Shoppes at Randolph (another fancy strip mall)
