A male Lawrence’s Warbler was seen this morning in the Patriot’s Path area of Washington Valley Road in Morris Township (west of Ranney Hill Rd. and the Seeing Eye). It was in trees along the path parallel to Washington Valley Rd. Blue-winged Warblers are common here with approximately five singing males bordering the field in the spring but this is the first hybrid from this area I am aware of.
