A female Blue Grosbeak in 1st fall plumage was seen at 16:30 at the place being referred to as Sayre’s Farm on Mendham Rd. in Morris Township. Song, Field and White-throated Sparrows, numerous Palm and Yellow-rumped Warblers, Common Yellowthroats, and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, etc. were also present. Interestingly, I noticed on eBird that a Blue Grosbeak was also observed today by Rick Wright at Cold Brook Preserve in Hunterdon County.
