Duck numbers have thinned out as expected in the last few weeks. A case in point: only 1 Common Merganser was on Lake Parsippany this afternoon. However, the season’s only Greater Scaup in the MoCoSoCo region was found in company with Ruddy Ducks.

American Coot – 10
A handful of Canada Geese and Mallards. 1 Ring-billed Gull. 1 Mute Swan.
