Jeff Ellerbusch found Somerset County’s 1st Northern Rough-winged Swallow of 2012 today at Best Lake in Watchung. This is a hardy bird, and birder, considering the intensity of the wind that gusted from the Northwest up to 45 miles per hour creating a wind chill barely above freezing.
