Following up on Vince Capp’s report to JerseyBirds of an immature Little Blue Heron on the Raritan River, I went back to Duke Island Park this afternoon (I had been there earlier this morning) and found the little blue just upriver from Roberts Street. Also present was a calling Solitary Sandpiper just downriver at the same location on the Duke Estate side of the river.
