Weather:
Overcast and humid with 100% cloud cover and heavy haze beyond 7 miles.
Temperature range, 60º to 68º. Visibility 5 to 7 miles. Wind, SSE
changing to SSW 2 to 5 mph.

Raptor Observations:
Poor weather conditions kept the birds low in the valley. TVs didn’t appear
until 1059. First bird was an Osprey at 0907 up from the valley near the
cedar tree stayed below the ridge and flew low of Marcella ridge. A second
Osprey arrived at 1136 right over the ledge just above tree tope level. Two
SSs arrived between 1100 to 1200 followed by two more between 1200 and
1300. All four were in front of the ledge at eye level.

Non-raptor Observations:
Red-bellied Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch, American Crow, Blue Jay,
Black-capped Chickadee.
