A notice on the Duke Farms Facebook page mentions the status of the Bald Eagle nest at Duke Farms. Unfortunately, the web-cam outfitted nest “suffered considerable damage” by Hurricane Sandy, October 29, 2012. The link to the full posting at Duke Farms web site is here. Fortunately, there are signs the Eagles have been in the area since the storm. Hopefully, they will attempt to rebuild somewhere in the vicinity of the old nest.
