Rough-legged Hawk in Somerset Co., Feb. 1, 2013
Jeff Ellerbusch found a dark morph Rough-legged Hawk this morning. It was hunting over the west side of Rattlesnake Bridge Road opposite Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster Township. This only the second documented report for Rough-legged Hawk in Somerset County in 2013.
