Jeff Ellerbusch had a group of Common Redpolls calling as they flew over the parking area of the Chimney Rock Hawkwatch this morning. Jeff’s description: “Vocal, flyover group – no visuals due to pretty severe fog (group sounded pretty large). Mostly chet-chet calls (fairly similar to wwcr), and also a few, hard, rattling trills.”
