This afternoon, Simon Lane reports that the Greater White-fronted Goose continues its stay at the VA Hospital grounds in Lyons. Assuming it is the same individual, this goose was first discovered at the Lyons location by Jim Gilbert on December 29, 2012 and has been frequently seen since that time.

Hey Jonathan – A Horned Grebe joined the Lesser Scaup, Redhead, Ring-neckeds, Buffleheads, Ruddy, Common Mergs, Red-breasted Merg., Mallards, Am. Blacks, Canada Geese and very few gulls when I passed around noon today mostly on the western end.
