Blue-winged Teal are in the mocosocoBirds area. Two were seen (and photographed) at Finderne Wetlands today. Terry Carruthers reports 2 males and 1 female from the Friends Blind at the Wildlife Observation center of the Great Swamp NWR.

Terry also observed a light-phase Rough-legged Hawk at 11 a.m. on Columbia Turnpike near Morristown Airport.

In Branchburg Township (on the border with Hillsborough Twp.), Jeff Ellerbusch tallied 72 Wilson’s Snipe on Studdiford Lane. 89 Horned Larks were on Opie Road.

A Greater Yellowlegs continues in the mud ponds of Duke Farms along Dukes Parkway West in Hillsborough Twp.
