I visited Lake Parsippany four times this past week. Here are the numbers for Common Mergansers: Tuesday, 3/8/2011: 260 Thursday, 3/10/2011: 500 Saturday, 3/12/2011: 160 Sunday, 3/13/2011: 12, that’s right, 12. A classic case of here today and gone tomorrow. Jonathan Klizas
