Nighthawk, Veery, Wood Thrush
Snapping turtles mating – 2 locked together “wrestling” on the water’s surface and finally drifting under the bridge I was on – talk about rough sex!

Broadwings (2) right off Old Beach Glen road parking lot, in the pines
good numbers of Scarlet Tanagers, RB Grosbeaks and Ovenbirds
Mt. Hope County Park, Rockaway township
very quiet this afternoon, Indigo Bunting and Prairie Warbler highlights.
Jonathan – I visit the fields off of Columbia parkway in
Florham Park from time to time as well. It’s an interesting place. I keep expecting it to be developed.
