An afternoon return visit to Sayre’s Farm, Washington Valley in Morris Township turned up an Orange-crowned Warbler (OCWA) in the same area as the Connecticut Warbler (COWA) was seen shortly before as well as this morning (see report). A solitary Black Walnut in the middle of the field acted as a transfer station for the COWA and the OCWA as well as 2 Tennessee Warblers, a Nashville Warbler and a number of Palm Warblers. Unfortunately the COWA and OCWA failed to show for visitors who appeared later.
