Jockey Hollow National Historic Park reopened last week after being shut down for weeks because of heavy damage brought on by the winds of Hurricane Sandy on October 29, 2012. The accompanying gallery of photos is a small sampling of what Mt. Kemble at Jockey Hollow in Harding Township and woodlands in neighboring Morris, Mendham and Bernards Townships experienced as a result of the winds of Sandy. Of course, the pictures give only the slightest glimpse of what power this storm had and what damage it wreaked.
