The location for the 700+ Ring-necked Ducks, Canvasback, Tundra Swans, etc. is the northern end of Lake Hopatcong on the Morris County side of the lake. Here is a link to the location of South Lakeside Ave. Tom Halliwell’s original post with written directions is here.

Please follow Alan Boyd’s advice if visiting this area: “South Lakeside Ave. is narrow and the houses are very close together. It’s hard to park without being in someone’s way so I would suggest parking elsewhere and walking in. I parked on Brady Rd at Nicki’s Restaurant, which was not open yet when I was there between 10 and 11.”
