The Raptor Trust in Millington, NJ suffered severe damage from a tornado-like storm that ripped through the area on Monday. They need help, i.e., donations, to help rebuild enclosures, etc. Pictures of the damage are on their Facebook page:

Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for posting this! I was going to mention it to you myself except for the fact that I wasn’t sure you would want that info on your site. In any case, I was there this morning and shocked to see the damage 😦 They lost 2 large flight cages (I believe) as well as at least one smaller rehab cage that was housing a barred owl. Thankfully the actual hospital was spared and miraculously none of the birds or staff were harmed, but I am still amazed that they were able to remove the birds left in the basically destroyed cages. This is the third time the Raptor Trust was damaged by weather related events in October too 😦
