Long Hill Wetlands had Lincoln’s Sparrow, Winter Wren and plenty of typical woodpecker species representatives, but no Red-headed Woodpeckers were found. The Wetlands are on the north side of the Passaic River across from Glenhurst Meadows.

The water level at Boonton Reservoir continues to diminish.  5 Killdeer, 1 Semipalmated Plover, 15 Semipalmated Sandpipers and 9 Least Sandpipers were gathered on the shoreline.

A Connecticut Warbler continues at the Great Swamp NWR (Simon Lane). It is near the red maples and pond a few hundred feet beyond the parking area for the White Bridge Road Wilderness Access Area.
