Jon, just as a note, I was at Halifax Road in Mahwah yesterday and came upon an enormous roost of Robins…had to be at least 2,000 birds as every tree in the entire area I birded over 90 minutes had between 5-10 Robins in it, and the sky was never without some Robins flying around. The noise was amazing. I imagine they moved south during the day, perhaps over Chimney Rock.
