The Barnacle Goose and friends are favoring the North Branch Park, Bridgewater Twp. and Studdiford Drive, Branchburg Twp. corridor recently. Today, the Barnacle Goose, 1,500 Canada Geese and a Cackling Goose dominated North Branch Park for most of the day with reports from morning to dusk. The photo above has the goose on the expansive model airplane field just north of the Somerset County Parks Commission office building.
The Greater White-fronted Goose, 900+ Canada Geese plus a Cackling Goose continue to favor Duke Island Park and were in the small pond most of the day.
