From Vicki Schwartz at Duke Island Park, Sun. Feb. 22, 2015:
“1 male and 1 female Redhead, 1 male Red-breasted Merganser, 1 male Bufflehead, along with the usual Mallards and Black Ducks, and a very chilly-looking Great Blue Heron standing on the ice in the river, near the ducks.”
[Editor’s note: The Redheads were reported from several people today in the few stretches of open water near Duke Island Park.]
Pine Siskins continue to be widely reported at feeders through the weekend.
