Not rare, but always nice to see in shorebird-starved Morris County, a Semipalmated Plover was with 10 Least Sandpipers and 4 Killdeer this afternoon at Melanie Lane Wetlands in Hanover Twp.

John J. Collins reported a flyover Mississippi Kite this morning from Negri-Nepote Native Grassland Preserve. Blue Grosbeak is also reported.
