Birds at Six Mile Run, Franklin Twp; Sept. 9, 2012

From Susan Treesh:

To add to the Chimney Rock warbler count today: Six Mile Run headquarters area had multiple Northern Parulas, redstarts, and Black-and-white warblers today, along with 1 each of Magnolia, Blue-winged, and Canada Warblers, and a Northern Waterthrush. Birds were together with a large Chickadee-Titmouse feeding flock. Activity quieted down after 8:30 am.

  1. Jeff Ellerbusch's avatar Jeff Ellerbusch says:

The GWWA was a “probable” GWWA (female).

The bird was only seen briefly, and the wing panel was split giving it a wingbar look, otherwise it felt good for female GWWA. NOT going to count it.
