From Dan Albohn:
Jonathan,
There was considerable activity here in Convent Station (in Morris Township – ed.) as we worked on the property. The Red-Breasted Nuthatches have stayed around and they were talking and eating all day high in the conifers along with their white-breasted relatives, Chickadees, and Titmice. The Carolina Wren made his presence known, I spotted a Goldfinch, and a female Ruby-Throated Hummingbird frequented the feeder we set up last week.
The woodpeckers were also active, as a male Hairy has been here the past couple days, and yesterday he was accompanied by what looked to be a younger male. A Flicker stopped by and of course, the Red-Bellied and multiple Downies.
