The Great Swamp’s Big Sit is scheduled for next Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Overlook. The plan is that we will be setting up the circle/tent/table/chairs on Saturday afternoon and there will be people present at midnight if the weather is cooperative…if not, then at 3 or 4 AM. The north gate will be open for access (the gate over Black Brook) and the south gate will automatically be open at sunrise. Participation at any time and for any length of time by members of our birding community would be fantastic. There will be coffee and snacks for everyone…and people are welcome to bring items themselves if they are so inclined.
