A Pine Siskin visited a feeder in Roxbury Twp., Morris County, Monday, Oct. 5. This is the only report of Pine Siskin in New Jersey since August 9, also in Morris County, and one of only a very few autumn reports in the Mid-Atlantic states and New England for this season as per eBird.

2 American Pipits and at least 13 Savannah Sparrows were at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Whippany this afternoon. This is the same location that was visited by a Western Kingbird Labor Day weekend. This can be a productive sparrow location in autumn.
