Sandhill Cranes in Franklin Township, Jan. 2, 2012
Teri Catalano reports 5 Sandhill Cranes at 8:55am in the cornfield at Weston Canal Road and by the Zarapath Christian Church. The cranes, as usual, are moving around and were not seen there later in the morning.

From John J. Collins: The previously reported Greater White-fronted Goose is present now (11:53 AM) in a field opposite 1100 Randolph Rd. in Franklin Township. Another “count week” bird at least for the Somerset CBC.
