Bonaparte’s Gulls join Red-necked Grebe in Boonton, Apr. 13, 2013

8 Bonaparte’s Gulls are currently with the Red-necked Grebe at the north end of Boonton Reservoir. And as Bonaparte’s will do, they flew off at 7:45 after sitting on the water for 10 minutes.

Simon Lane and I are currently viewing an alternate-plumaged Red-necked Grebe at the north end of Boonton Reservoir, 7 Horned Grebes and at least 4 Common Loons are also present. iPhone photo below.
